We will meet in the lobby for our City Tour Colonial Havana. Next, now that we have worked up an appetitite, we will have a welcome dinner at Paladar Los Mercaderes. Romantic and sophisticated, this restaurant offers exquisite Cuban and international cuisine with impeccable service in a luxurious first-floor dining room.

We start the day immersing yourself in the historic ambiance of the Castillo de Los 3 Reyes del Morro, once one of Havana's most significant fortresses from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Here, nestled within this atmospheric colonial setting, you'll find El Faro, an exceptional Cuban cigar factory. Delve into the art of cigar rolling and pairing as you receive comprehensive insights, accompanied by the rich flavors of Cuban coffee and rum.

Next, we treat our palate to lunch. Right at the entrance of the tunnel that separates the Vedado and Miramar neighborhoods, marking the start of the Malecón, you'll discover one of Havana's newest wine restaurants. Owned by a renowned Cuban sommelier, this establishment boasts an impressive wine selection, curated with special attention to diversity, a rarity in Cuban standards. The menu features a wide array of reds, whites, and sparkling wines from around the globe. Complementing the exquisite wines is the stylized cuisine by Cuban chef Boris Prieto, a fusion expert. His focus on seafood dishes is unparalleled. Dinner on this night is at La Guarida. Enrique and Odeisys Nunez established what has now become Cuba's most renowned paladar on July 14, 1996. Visitors to La Guarida will undoubtedly attest to the enchanting atmosphere crafted by Enrique and Odeisys. The restaurant has since expanded, boasting a spacious outdoor terrace and an inviting rooftop bar.

For the ultimate experience, we have arranged a cigar session and enjoying drinks on the terrace to fully appreciate the splendor of this location.

Joining us for our pre-arranged rum and cigar pairing session, our cigar aficionado will enhance your experience. The tour will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, during which they'll expertly pair your cigar with a fine rum and provide insights into the art of cigar making and smoking. Your experience includes two aged rums and one cigar.

Our day starts by getting local. You’ll visit a local produce market and a store to explore the various ways (and prices) Cubans access their food. Then, enjoy lunch at Jibaro, where you’ll learn to craft an authentic Cuban mojito and savor traditional Cuban cuisine with a modern twist.

Jibaro, one of Havana’s best-kept secrets, is a trendy new restaurant in Old Havana. Its charming decor features salvaged architectural pieces, and the menu offers a delightful mix of classic Cuban dishes with Greek and Middle Eastern influences. Don’t miss their house special, rice noodles! Unlike most places in Cuba, Jibaro also boasts a great selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. After lunch, take a quick stroll around the corner to visit one of Havana’s most spectacular churches, Iglesia de las Mercedes.

After lunch, we have a special treat. Renowned both nationally and internationally for their fusion of dance and percussion, this company was founded in 2004 under the visionary leadership of dancer and choreographer Liliet Rivera. Eduardo Cordova, a master percussionist and artist, directs the musical side, teaching the art of percussion to the team. Their collaboration has given birth to a unique style that sets them apart: a masterful blend of diverse percussion instruments seamlessly intertwined with contemporary dance and vibrant Cuban rhythms.

The day continues with one of the most sought after shots for Instagram! Hop into an open-top vintage car for a 2 hour city tour, taking in all the main sites like the lush Havana Almendares Forest, the historic Cristobal Colon Cemetery, and the iconic Hotel Nacional. Plus, we can tailor the tour to suit your specific interests!

Dinner this evening is a treat. Dine in a high-ceilinged room inside or al fresco under the canopy of an 80ft chimney stack at El Cocinero. Enjoy fantastic seafood and modern Cuban cuisine with a twist. Reservations are recommended since it's often fully booked. The rooftop bar offers a slightly different menu than the downstairs restaurant. For Cuban standards, the food here is exceptional, especially in the downstairs dining area. The space is beautifully designed, both indoors and out, making it one of the best dining experiences in Havana.

Playfully known as the world's longest couch, this is where locals come for everything from sports and fishing to romantic first dates, birthday celebrations, serenades, and lively Saturday night parties. Stroll with your guide and enjoy the changing colors of the facades as the sun sets.

Then we are off to dinner at another local favorite. Otra Manera, meaning "Another Way," is a newish paladar that's truly redefining the dining experience. Set in a converted 1950s mansion that opens out to a beautiful garden, this sleek restaurant offers some of Havana's finest cuisine. The attention to detail in both the food and the service makes Otra Manera a standout addition to Havana's vibrant restaurant scene.

No visit to Havana would be complete without seeing this. Tropicana Cabaret, opened in 1931, has welcomed legends like Benny More, Nat King Cole, Jack Nicholson, and Lucky Luciano. This Vegas-style extravaganza seats 1,400 people and showcases 10 performers who cover the full spectrum of popular Cuban dance. The dancers are stunning, and the costumes, choreography, and routines are top-notch. However, the food is subpar, the show is long, and it's packed with tourists. Despite a recent revamp, the basic formula remains unchanged, sticking to the classic charm that's been there for years.
